It's difficult for me to write something like this, but I wanted to thank you for what you did in the forest. I was drowning then; or at least, I thought I was. I've drowned before, and it haunts me every day. In my sleep, in my consciousness. Every time.
But you helped me, even though I was a stranger to you. Not many people in London would do that. Especially to somebody like me, or somebody in my family. It may not seem like a big deal to you, but it is to me.
I'm not very good at saying thank you, but I got you something. Maybe it might look good on you.
